Farming is in our roots.
For six generations, the Rasch family has grown apples in the unique climate of West Michigan. Each generation has adapted to new science and consumer demands, and has maintained a dedication to providing the highest quality fruit for consumers.
Six generations. Hundreds of years of knowledge.
Knowledge of cultivating and caring for our environment has been passed down through six generations in West Michigan. Joe & Mary have led the family farm through its fifth generation of growing food. Joe has brought planting and cultivation techniques from travels abroad and has been a leader in innovation and quality in the state. Both spent time teaching the next generation about the wide variety of knowledge needed to successfully manage a farm.
Sixth Generation
Katie is the daughter of Joe & Mary, and the sixth generation to be involved in the farm. Bit by her parents’ travel bug, she spent two years abroad and during that time, met another multi-generational farm kid from Colombia - Manuel. Katie & Manuel now manage the day-to-day operations at the farm. Both are bilingual in English and Spanish and use that knowledge to focus on building a collaborative and sustainable team.
